Alley Fair

On Saturday, June 1, a brand new community event called Alley Fair will transform the alleyway behind the 300 block of Broadway into a one day festival of local art, food and music.

Alley Fair is free and family friendly from noon until 7 p.m. and features games, food, and an Artists’, Makers’ and Crafters’ Fair featuring 618love, AENDEE, Amy Jo’s Handmade, Beckamade, Botny, Ceramicbones, Colby Sunshine Art / Ghost Pyramid, Dakota Soap Works, DIY Wood Studio, Plants for Patients, Allison Slavik and Raine Design.

This is a great list of vendors and I recommend checking out their sites even if you’re not able to make the event on Saturday.

The event features a noon performance by Nina Grollman and Allison Slavik’s hooping throughout the day.

And don’t miss Bakeology’s Cupcake Hour from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Alley Fair will become a 21+ event after 8 p.m. and features a live performance by the always excellent Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome and food from local restaurants and food truck vendors, including Monte’s, Taco Bros. Food Truck, Joe Sandwich (which is brand new to me — I’m excited to learn more about it) and Mezzaluna.

Mezzaluna and Monte’s will be serving lunch as well.
