A note from the editor: This contest is closed, but MODE still sells fun fashion for less than retail price. Check back on the second Tuesday of each month for more Prairie Style File giveaways.
Hi guys! The Prairie Style File monthly giveaway is back (sorry for the short delay — computer issues) and this month I’m introducing you to a great source for super discounted women’s designer fashion for all shapes and sizes.
This month’s giveaway is from MODE, a great designer outlet in Bismarck run by sisters Heather Pitsiladis and Andrea Birst. You can check out MODE stores elsewhere in North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas and South Carolina, too.
“Mode is a designer outlet, so everything that you find in our store is designer brand, usually from the L.A. area and usually 50 to 80 percent off retail,” says Heather. “We have a boutique atmosphere, as well as great quality merchandise.”
MODE is probably best known for $40 designer denim. They stock a huge variety of jeans in lots of different washes and styles and the selection is always changing. I’ve always had good luck with scarves and accessories at MODE and it’s one of those shops that I can take my mom, my sister and my grandma to and we’ll all find something to look at.
One of my favorite things about MODE is the huge range of sizes they offer. “We go from 00 to 3X,” says Heather. “It’s a missing niche in our market. To find designer plus size clothes that don’t cost $300 — that’s huge. We have a lot of plus size designer stuff.”
Ready to shop yet? Enter or comment below and you could win $40 to spend at MODE! And don’t worry if you’re not in Bismarck — Heather and Andrea can hook you up if you’re anywhere in the U.S. Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. on October 29. A winner will be randomly selected and announced on Friday, October 30.
So what would you buy at MODE? What do you need for fall? Have you shopped there before? Tell us about it!
