Eco Chic is expanding! Now you can shop for handmade, upcycled and eco-friendly products for your family and your home online and at two North Dakota locations — the original store in Fargo and the new location in Bismarck.
You’ll love the vibe of this place. Owner Maria Bosak and her staff have cultivated a distinctive DIY style at their Fargo location, featuring handmade items from local artisans and reclaimed furniture alongside retail items for moms, kids and babies and gifts and home decor.
They’re also Annie Sloan Chalk Paint specialists. If you haven’t seen these paints before, I recommend clicking on the link because the colors are beautiful. They’re complex and versatile and I’ve seen them used on mid-century pieces and cottage chic projects with equally good results.
I’m a color maniac (half of the rooms in our house are painted with a custom color) and I’m obsessed with this gorgeous malachite green that you see on the photos above and below.
The color is called Florence and it’s a strong, complex shade that can read moody or cheerful, depending on how it’s used. Obviously, the staff at Eco Chic like it too, because it shows up on a lot of the pieces at their Fargo store.
Don’t forget to follow them on and Facebook to learn about upcoming events and opportunities at both stores.
