On The First Day Of Christmas…A Local Gift Basket From Unglued

A note from me: This contest is over, but Unglued is still rockin’ it, providing handmade goods from local artisans and crafty classes and networking opportunities in North Dakota and South Dakota. The holiday contest will return in December. In the meantime, enter to win regular monthly Prairie Style File giveaways on the second Tuesday of each month.

It’s the season of giving so I’m giving you a chance to win over $1,200 in prizes! The 12 Days of Christmas is back with a new prize giveaway every day from now until December 12.

It’s your chance to win gift cards, baskets bursting with local gifts and goodies, concert tickets, vintage and handmade treasures and more. Keep them for yourself (no judgement here, the prizes are awesome!) or pass on a little joy at your holiday celebration.

You can enter each giveaway every single day and increase your chances of winning by talking about The 12 Days of Christmas on Facebook and Twitter as well, so check back and enter often. How to play is detailed at the end of this post. Today’s giveaway is from a Prairie Style File fan favorite.

Unglued has two locations, one in Fargo and one in Sioux Falls, and features locally made gifts from over 200 artists and craftspeople in the region. It’s one of those stores where you can can run in and find something unexpected for everyone on your Christmas list.

I send people to Unglued for unusual, locally-made souvenirs, natural cosmetics, quirky cute housewares, affordable art and funny, snarky paper products and home goods. There’s also a fun selection of kids toys and clothing and lots of unusual jewelry.

Upcoming Events:
If you’re crafty or like DIY projects, you have got to check out Unglued’s Holiday Lookbook to check out all the gorgeous gifts you can make and projects you can try this holiday season. There’s even one that combines crafting and yoga.

“We are super focused on inspiring people to ‘love local’ and also get creative themselves for their holiday gift giving and decorating,” says Unglued owner Ashley Morken. “If anyone takes four or more workshops they’ll get a $25 gift card.”
