I was interviewed by my local newspaper this week.
It was both fun and weird to be on the other side of the questions and the camera — especially on a day when I felt oh-so-pregnant. When the reporter asked me what my style trademarks were, I actually had to think a minute.

I said I wear a lot of classic shapes in blacks, grays and vivid colors. I love contrasting patterns — especially stripes and skulls — and prefer boots and scarves over heels and purses. Then I realized I probably should have mentioned owl jewelry, because I’m amassing quite a collection.

This vintage gold necklace is the one that started it all. If you read my Stripes and Suede post, you already know that my Grandma J. has the same one, which is a weird coincidence and yet another sign that we need to go shopping together more often.
