One of my favorite things about going to an event is seeing what everybody is wearing. I attended the Fabulous Fashion & Friends event to benefit the Meredith Haugen Play Therapy Room at Rape and Abuse Crisis Center with my mom and sister on Thursday and the crowd definitely didn’t disappoint.
There were some amazing looks on the runway from My Best Friend’s Closet (I liked the cozy layered looks and my sister fell head over heels in love with an Alexander McQueen) but the crowd was just as inspiring.
Here are some of our favorite looks.
These ladies gave me a whole new appreciation for the versatility of boots. And this white dress was one of our table’s favorite pieces. It’s so hard to find a flattering little white dress and this one is perfect. (P.S. She got it at Macy’s.)
These are our super fun table mates, Jewel, Stacy and Stacey. I love it when I’m randomly seated next to people and they turn out to be fabulous.
This is such a fun event. There were cupcakes from Nichole’s Fine Pastry (heaven!!!), plenty of wine and great clothes, delicious food and shopping.
And it’s all for an amazing cause. The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center serves the resilient survivors of assault and abuse in our community, regardless of their ability to pay. And the Meredith Haugen Play Room helps the littlest warriors heal, survive and thrive.
If you’re lucky enough not to know anyone who has needed their services, then you’re probably not familiar with the center and it’s mission. I encourage you to visit their website and make an appointment to come in and learn about how you can help. It’s an incredible organization.
Next year there’ll be a Prairie Style File table at this event. I hope to see you there!
