Fall is a season of frosty mornings and warm afternoons and that can make getting dressed a challenge.
I love Nycole Burton’s take on fall dressing. Nycole is on her feet all day as the owner of Trendz Boutique in Minot, North Dakota so she knows a few things about dressing for both fashion and function.
(You can read my look inside Trendz Boutique here.)
Midwestern girls love their denim and Nycole has a simple way to get us out of the jeans and tank top rut. She pairs flattering denim (dark, with just a hint of flare) with a statement necklace and earrings.
The jewelry would work against a basic tank or T, but Nycole takes it up a notch with a floaty top with just a touch of lace.
Open toe sandals take this outfit in a casual direction, but ankle boots or a great pair of heels would make it work for a night out. Artfully tousled waves, a bit of sparkly shadow and eyeliner and a swipe of lip gloss complete the look.
We might not be able to get Nycole’s amazing bone structure but we can get her clothes.
