Unglued Grand Opening Festivities

If you’re into unique gifts, non-grandma-ish crafts and shopping that will make you smile, you have to check out the Grand Opening events at Unglued on September 6th, 7th and 8th.

There are more than 60 local and regional artists represented at Unglued, and they sell the most transfixing assortment of gifts.

It’s all handcrafted or vintage, but with a decidedly modern — and usually witty — edge.

I have a personal weakness for the scarves and prints by local artists, but these little monster guys are pretty cute, too.

They have a full three days of activities and workshops planned, but Thursday really kicks things off.

Stop out early — the first 25 people in the door at 10am (on Thursday only) score these fabulous swag bags!

If that’s a little too early for you, no worries. Anyone who shops before 6pm Thursday night is eligible to win prizes.

You don’t need to be present to win, but I’d recommend sticking around for live music from Amanda Standalone and The Pastry Shop Girls and Rob Ashe, starting at 6:45pm Thursday night.

If you go on an Unglued shopping spree or if you got into one of their always popular workshops, be sure to comment and tell us all about it.

See you downtown!
