Win Early Bird Tickets to the Eco Chic Junk Market

The Eco Chic Junk Market is back on May 10th and it’s bigger than ever!

You can still find vintage, repurposed and handmade treasures from dozens of local vendors, but this year it’s all indoors at the Hartl Ag Building on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds so you can shop rain or shine.

Early bird tickets are sold out — but not if you read Prairie Style File!

One lucky winner will score a pair of Early Bird tickets (worth $20 each!) and receive two hours of shopping (8 a.m. – 10 a.m.) before the doors open. You’ll be snacking on coffee and donuts while the rest of us are still waiting in line!

Here’s how to win:

Just comment below this post and tell me why you want to go.

You can double your chances of winning if you like or share this post on Facebook or retweet it on Twitter.

The contest closes at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th. I’ll announce a winner on Easter Sunday.

This event is in West Fargo, but we can mail the tickets anywhere. So if you can’t make it, but you know someone who can, feel free to enter for them. If you win, we’ll make sure they get the tickets.

If you’re not from the area, you should totally come to town on May 10 — its the day to be in Fargo. The Fargo Marathon celebrates its tenth year (and it’s an amazing event to watch), I’m hosting a new event in the afternoon that I’ll tell you about on Thursday (ooh, the suspense!) and you’ll have plenty of time to shop and meet other junkers at the Eco Chic Junk Market.

Sounds like a perfect day, don’t you think?

  1. I have shopped at eco chic since they opened their doors and I am excited to support my lovely friend Sam and the girls of The White House Boutique. I would love an early ticket to find a gem for the baby room I am decorating for my sister who is due in September. Plus I have never been able to go to the junk market because of other obligations. Please pick me

  2. I’ve been trying to come every year, and have had a conflict every time. This is the first year that I can make it! I would LOVE to drive down from GF and bring a friend to enjoy the early bird shopping time and treats!

  3. I absolutely positively LOVE Junk Market!!! I’ve gone to every one – including last year for part of my bachelorette party in the cold and rain! I usually spend hours looking and buying. This year, my husband and I are hosting a co-ed baby shower… I want to spend as much time before the shower starts shopping FUNKY JUNK! Either way, I’ll be there… but if you pick me, I’ll be there for a LONGER time! 🙂

  4. I’m looking to find my own style for decorating and what better way at somewhere with such a fun variety. I have never been but I have family who tells me these sort of events are the best for custom unique items! Can’t wait to check out all that there is and would love the option to get in a little earlier, more time to buy!

  5. I have many pieces of stuff from my daughter’s home, she passed away this winter at age 44. I would love inspiration to repurpose several of her things for her children to have a keepsakes with beauty and function. Please pick me. Thank you. Helen

  6. I would love to come to the junk market! I heard about it last year and wanted to attend, but wasn’t able to make it from Grand a Forks. This year I happen to have a baby shower to attend in Fargo that same day and I would love to be able to hit the junk market first!

  7. I love Ecochic… My home has been slowing turning into my sanctuary altar of divine perfection…with Maria and her staff. I would love to win the early shopping pass of complete AWEsomeness…I promise to shop with bliss, bring chocolates for the staff, buy lots, dance with joy, and not to make faces at the people standing in line… Manifesting tickets in my hand on this HOPPY EASTER!!!

  8. I would love to go and take my mother-in-law who is coming in to town that weekend to help with a bunch of our home re-decorating! It would be perfect!!

  9. I am an original junker from way back and have always loved the old and rusted. It is so fun to shop at Eco Chic and see how old things are revived. My very dear old but not rusted friend Barb and I tend to hyperventilate at your event, lucky for me she is a nurse! Have endured the cold and wet glad you are moving indoors! Cant wait!!!!!!
