I spotted Paul Krueger and his sweet little son Chaeydon at a roller derby bout in Bemidji, Minnesota and I knew I had to take his photo.
I love his casual, confident look and I really love seeing a guy rock a scarf. Make a mental note, gentlemen — this is how it’s done.
Paul’s a South Dakota native who lives in Bemidji and he’s a very creative guy. He spun glow sticks with his beautiful wife Aubrey during halftime and creates stunning textured photos and other work (including the shirt he’s wearing here) as freehandgear@gmail.com.
His confidence with texture shows in his clothing as well.

Check back next Wednesday to see photos of Paul’s lovely wife Aubrey. Isn’t it weird that two people I desperately wanted to photograph turned out to be married? Obviously, this family has some serious style.
And Chaeydon, thanks for letting me borrow your daddy for a minute. (As you can tell from the photos, he was a little skeptical of this arrangement.)
